This was a very special photo session today at the War Memorial Gardens where the park was quiet except for the occasional baby song sung by Grandma Dorothy and the dramatic creaking and cracking of the colossal bamboo swaying against itself in the wind.

Taking the gentle giant on his one mile walk today,we encountered many mushrooms. Shown here are a few, along with a shot of our path.

The biggest obstacle to a clear shot is the tugging of the leash in one hand while trying to steady the camera and focus!
